What it tastes like

This is the light, clean rum style that goes into a mojito or a rum and cola, not the dark sipping kind. The almond and vanilla sit softly behind a fresh spirit character, and it reads as a white rum straight away in a mixed drink.

How to make it

Shake the bottle, add the full 50ml to 2.25 litres of 40% ABV neutral spirit or vodka, and mix well. That is the whole method. There is no resting time, though most people find the flavour settles after a day in the bottle.

The spirit can be bought vodka or your own neutral spirit. A clean base matters more than the flavouring: an essence cannot hide a rough spirit.

When to choose this one
