What type of glass is best for beer?
The best glass is one that suits the style and is not frozen. A room-temperature glass warms beer by about 1 to 2°C for a thin glass or 2 to 4°C for a thicker one, which lets more flavour come through. Chilled glasses can hide aroma and flavour.
What sizes are a pot, a schooner and a pint?
In Australia a pot or middy is 285ml, a schooner is 425ml and a pint is 570ml. The names change between states, but those three sizes cover most pubs.
What are the main types of beer glasses?
The most common in Australian pubs are the straight Headmaster in pot and schooner sizes, the conical schooner and the nonic pint with a bulge near the rim. Specialty glasses such as tulips and pilsner glasses suit particular styles.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Metro: usually a few business days. Regional: often a bit longer. You get tracking when it leaves the warehouse.
What is your returns policy?
If something isn't right, tell us. We'll sort returns or replacements under Australian Consumer Law and our written policy. No drama.
