What it tastes like

A gold tequila style with the pepper and warmth up front. It makes a straightforward margarita or tequila sunrise base and holds its own as a shot with salt and lime.

How to make it

Shake the bottle, add the full 50ml to 2.25 litres of 40% ABV neutral spirit or vodka, and mix well. That is the whole method. There is no resting time, though most people find the flavour settles after a day in the bottle.

The spirit can be bought vodka or your own neutral spirit. A clean base matters more than the flavouring: an essence cannot hide a rough spirit.
