An alcometer and the flask to float it in, sold together. Pour the distillate into the 100ml flask, drop the alcometer in and read the ABV straight off the scale. Take the reading at 20 degrees, or correct for temperature if your spirit is warmer or cooler than that.

How much distillate do I need for an alcometer reading?
The 100 ml test flask holds enough for the alcometer to float freely and give an accurate reading. Around 80 to 90 ml is typically sufficient.
