Air Still Production Pack 6kg with Turbo Pure, Turbo Carbon Turbo Clear, (AS Carbon Cartridges x6)
A pack of consumables sized for the Air Still: yeast, sugar, clearing agent and carbon, enough to ferment a single 25L wash. That wash then runs through the still across roughly five or six batches. You will need a 30L fermenter to hold it.

The details
The Air Still Production Pack is every consumable for one full 25 litre wash on a Still Spirits Air Still, in one box: Turbo Pure yeast, 6kg of Turbo Sugar, Turbo Carbon, Turbo Clear, and six Air Still carbon cartridges to polish the spirit as it comes off. You supply the 30 litre fermenter and the water.
What is in it and what each part does
- Turbo Pure yeast. The clean, high-alcohol turbo yeast. Still Spirits rates a Pure wash at 6 to 7 days at 20 to 24 degrees.
- 6kg Turbo Sugar. The sugar the yeast ferments. Still Spirits' Pure recipe uses 6kg of Turbo Sugar in a 21 litre wash.
- Turbo Carbon. Liquid carbon added with the yeast; it traps impurities during fermentation.
- Turbo Clear. The two-part clearing agent that drops the yeast, solids and carbon out of the finished wash within 24 hours, before you distil.
- Six Air Still carbon cartridges. One per 1.125 litres of spirit off the Air Still, so six covers the whole wash run through the Air Still Carbon Filter and Collection System.
How the wash goes
Dissolve the sugar in warm water, top up to volume, cool to the temperature on the yeast sachet, pitch the yeast and stir in the carbon straight after. Ferment 6 to 7 days at 20 to 24 degrees. Degas, add Turbo Clear Part A, wait an hour, add Part B gently and leave it 24 hours. Siphon the clear wash and run it through the Air Still 4 litres at a time, filtering each collection through a fresh cartridge. Our Air Still guide walks through a full run.
When it makes sense
Buy this rather than the parts separately when you want one box that guarantees nothing is missing on brew day. If you already have cartridges, the dextrose twin pack is the cheaper sugar-only option.
