"Very similar in style & taste to the James Squire 150 Lashes Pale Ale"
The story goes that when the guards found convict Jimmy Squire brewing beer they gave him a flogging, although legend has it his beer tasted good. Nasty buggers. We've come up with a version of the 150 Lashes Pale Ale that's bigger & hoppier, so we've called it 170 Lashes.
We have brewed this one time & time again, & it is loved by so many so we think we have done Australia's first brewer proud. It's got lashings of Amarillo & Cascade hops & a big luscious malty heart. It is a real Pale Ale true to tradition, driven by the hops & malt. We are sure you will love it.
