The Filter Pro is a gravity fed carbon filter: 8 litres of spirit at a time passes from the stainless hopper through 500g of loose carbon packed into the long stainless column. Tri-clamps, flow control and a removable door and wall mount round it out.

Preparing the Filter Pro for a run
- Assemble all fittings with seals in place; ball valve locked
- Add 500g of carbon to the hopper and let it flow into the column to just below the top tri-clamp
- Pour 4L of warm to hot water (40-60°C) through to wet the carbon and flush carbon dust, then drain
- Fit a single 30mm filter paper in the recess at the tri-clamp
- Close the valve and fill the hopper with up to 8L of spirit, diluted to no more than 50% ABV
