Alcometer Test Spirit Alcohol
A glass hydrometer calibrated for distilled spirit, not for beer or wine. It tells you the strength of what has come off the still, which is the number you need before you dilute or blend to a target. You will want a 100ml test flask to float it in.

What is the difference between an alcometer and a standard hydrometer?
A standard hydrometer measures liquid density to estimate sugar content and is used for beer and wine. An alcometer is calibrated specifically for distilled spirit to read ABV directly. Do not use a beer or wine hydrometer to measure spirit strength - you will get an inaccurate reading.
