Granular activated carbon at 12x40 mesh, 2kg, which is four or more batches through a Filter Pro. We have run this carbon through a Filter Pro here at AHB and it polished the spirit properly. Flush it with 8L of water before each use, and let the first 300 to 400ml through the filter go.

Granular activated carbon with a fine 12x40 mesh, suitable for spirit filtration, drinking water and food-grade applications. 2kg in the pack: enough for 4+ batches through the Filter Pro.
Using it with the Still Spirits Filter Pro
We road tested this carbon at AHB with the Filter Pro and the results were excellent: a finely polished neutral spirit.
- Fully flush the carbon with 8L of water each time before filtering your diluted spirit
- The first 300-400ml off the filter after the water flush is water-heavy and will dilute your spirit - separate it if you want to hold your ABV
