New England IPA is beer style with an intense, tropical fruit aroma and flavour. The addition of rolled oats to the grain bill enriches the beer with a full body and velvety smoothness.

The use of Centennial and Mosaic hops in the boil to provide a light bitterness which is the perfect base to aggressively dry hop or even double dry hopped during fermentation. It is important to use a yeast that will assist the hazy characteristic. If you like tropical juice style beer with haze, you will love this beer. Savour the taste of summer any time of the year.

Yeast Recommendations

Dry Hopping


Dry hopping is crucial for NEIPA beers as it boosts the aromatic intensity, infusing the beer with robust tropical and fruity flavours without adding bitterness.

Recommended Dry Hops 

  • Citra 50g : distinct citrus aroma and great bittering qualities
  • Galaxy 100g : peach and passion fruit flavours and aromas

Brewing Instructions

  • Pour 15lt of fresh wort into a clean and sanitised fermenter.
  • Add 5 litres of water to bring volume to 20 litres.
  • Stir to aerate and pitch the yeast when the starting temperature is at 25°C or below.
  • Essential dry hopping - Add chosen dry hops on day 5 of fermentation
  • Ferment until complete iwthin the recommended temperature range
