Turbos, Carbon & Sugar

Turbo yeast, carbon and sugar are the consumables you use every wash. The turbo yeast ferments a high-strength sugar wash, Turbo Carbon traps impurities while it ferments, Turbo Clear drops the yeast and carbon out before you distil, and dextrose or Turbo Sugar feeds the yeast. Production packs put the lot in one box: one pack, one 25 litre wash.

FastYou want it done quicklyFollow the sachetCan ferment out in about 48 hours, depending on temperature and sugar

Sugar

Dextrose is our pick. It ferments cleaner than table sugar. Turbo Sugar is a blend of dextrose, sugar and carbon that absorbs impurities as it ferments.

Carbon and clear, every wash

Add Turbo Carbon straight after pitching the yeast. When fermentation has finished, use Turbo Clear and give it 24 hours to drop the yeast and carbon out. Never distil a wash with the carbon still in it: the heat releases what the carbon trapped. A carbon filter after distilling is a further polishing step.
