Why buy this kit
Everything in one box — no guesswork, no missing pieces. This kit was put together so you don't have to figure out what you need. The components work together as a complete system, from the first stir through to the final cork.
The two-vessel setup matters. Most cheap starter kits give you a single fermenter and leave you to figure out the rest. This kit includes both a primary fermenter and a secondary carboy — which means you can let your wine clear properly before bottling, instead of ending up with a cloudy, yeasty result.
You'll actually know your alcohol content. The included hydrometer lets you take a gravity reading before and after fermentation, so you can calculate your ABV with confidence. It's a step a lot of beginners skip — and a reason a lot of beginners are surprised by what ends up in the glass.
No-rinse sanitiser included twice. Sanitation is the most important step in winemaking and the most commonly skimped on. Two sachets of no-rinse sanitiser are in the box so you can clean your equipment properly from day one.

FAQs
Do I need to buy anything else to get started? You'll need your wine ingredients — either a juice kit, fresh fruit, or grape concentrate — and 30 x 750ml wine bottles. Everything else is in this kit.
Is this kit suitable if I've never made wine before? Yes. It's designed specifically for beginners. The equipment is straightforward to use and the two-vessel system (fermenter + carboy) makes the process easier to manage, not harder.
Can I use this kit for cider or mead? Absolutely. The 23L Wine making kit works for any fermented beverage— grape wine, fruit wine, apple cider, mead, and more.
What's the difference between the fermenter and the carboy? The fermenter is where primary fermentation happens — where the yeast converts your sugars into alcohol. The carboy is for secondary fermentation and clearing. Racking your wine from fermenter to carboy lets sediment settle out and gives you a cleaner, clearer result in the bottle.
How do I know when my wine is ready to bottle? Use the hydrometer. Take a gravity reading when you start, then again a few days apart. When the readings are stable and match your expected final gravity, fermentation is complete and you're ready to bottle.
How long does a batch take? Most wine kits take 4–6 weeks from start to bottle, depending on the style and how long you allow for clearing and conditioning. Country fruit wines and meads can take longer.
Is the corker easy to use? Yes. The lever action corker in this kit is designed for home use — you don't need a floor corker or professional equipment. It seats standard wine corks firmly with two hands and a bit of pressure.
