Very popular grain grown in Australia and often referred to as Crystal Medium. Its ability to add sweetness as well as a large amount of colour and flavour makes it a very adaptable and versatile ingredient. Further, there is no need to mash, making it a great method to spruce up a beer without a complicated full mash. Adding larger quantities of Crystal Medium will deepen ones beer’s red hue.
