Ten sachets of Still Spirits Turbo Carbon, the liquid activated carbon that goes into a wash with the turbo yeast. One sachet per 25 litre wash, so this pack covers ten washes.
What it does
Still Spirits describes it as "designed to work with our range of Turbo Yeasts and is added to a wash straight after pitching yeast". It traps impurities while fermentation is producing them, which a post-distillation filter cannot do, and the spirit comes off the still cleaner as a result.
How to use it
Massage the sachet until it is lump free, then stir the contents into the wash immediately after pitching the yeast. After fermentation, use Turbo Clear to settle the carbon out before you distil. Still Spirits warns that heating a wash with the carbon still suspended releases what it trapped.
